SMK CONVENT SENTUL CLASS OF DAHLIA 98; 20TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION

CAUTION : A LOT OF PICTURES. VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK :P

i have been working on a project for the last 2 month..my fellow classmates appoint me as organiser to handle our class reunion..since we finish SPM in 1998 we never had any gathering..i had a lot of help though from collection of fee, surveying the venue and menu, decorations, booking souvenirs, photographer, etc..of cos we cast votes to decide on every aspect..

Alhamdulillah, after blood and sweat (cewah..more like high blood) we get to realize our plan on 29th September at Hotel Maya..they gave us a private corner..the food was decent, not so bad, yang penting we totally had our privacy as the whole restaurant xde visitor lain masa tuh..memang nampak macam we book the whole restaurant..

we hire a photographer for 2 hours which was later turn to 3 hours without any additional charges..kesian adik tuh melayan kakak2 nih..moga murah rezeki ko dik..special thanks to Muhaini for helping me so much..we met quite often to discuss; whether near my office or while bring our kids to my condo swimming pool..gaya mak2 buat keje sambil jaga anak kan..jadilaa..

the decorations at Maya Braserie was simple, but some of my classmates nak jugak add deco so i surveyed a few event planner but their charges was somehow i thought too much..so i thought i could do this..hey, we are all from art stream class..me and muhaini get some ideas and divide work between us..we only spent a total around RM300 for deco stuff and thats the only cost for decorations..jimat banyak sangattt..anyway, i love doing artsy creative kinda thing..so i dont mind doing it..i enjoyed making the origami butterflies and the 1998 signage..

that morning after subuh i terus kemas2 rumah, done a round of laundry and cook some dishes for lunch..yelah kan..nak tinggalkan the kids with my husband, haruslah tinggalkan impression yang baguss..hahaha..walaupun dia dah bgtau to take my time, nak lepak2 afterwards pun dia ok..he can handle them..still, i taknaklaa rasa xsedap hati pulak..

i planned nak sampai awal around 11.30am untuk setup dulu before we start at 12.30pm..before that nak singgah rumah my mom nak suruh fatin mekapkan..dia plak bersemangat mekapkan kita sampai lost track of time..11.30am baru terhegeh2 nak keluar dr rumah mak..pastu salah jalan pulak termasuk Jalan Jelatek..orang wangsa maju, setiawangsa taulaa betapa hazab jem kat situ sebab ada construction tgh2 divider tuh..dalam kereta tuh i macam kena panic attack..dahlaa sorang2..call muhaini dia lagilaa still kat sungai buloh..lagilaa menggelupur rasa..pukul 12 masih kat jelatek, pastu masuk AKLEH terus ok dah..



kasi besar sikit...special nih...i was dolled up by a rising MUA @hanaikmal (fatin, nak komisen!!)

they sent me updated pic everytime someone arrive..adoi..camano organiser lambat nih..dahlaa kita in charge of the decorations..mmg menggigil dah masa dlm keta menghadap jem kat jelatek tuh..

 

Hotel Maya, very cozy and warm feeling..staff pun baik2..layan jer kakak2 yang memekak nih..the late arrivers said our voice can be heard until the lobby upstairs..kemain masing2 kann

sampai je sana, terus keluarkan barang2 and i start setup2 meja2..mujur ramai yang tolong, i banyak arah2 jer..

from 3 square tables diorang combine jadi 1 long table..

in less than 15 minutes all settled..we get help from 1 of the staff to hang the lanterns..tantek takkk?

tadaa..this is the centrepiece for each table..signage 1998 tuh i buat from scratch ok..malam tuh siap terbakar jari terkena gluegun..but it was worth it..actually ada yang tak lengkap..it should had 3 frames tapi muhaini sampai lagi lambat and then dia tak sempat print gambar so takdelaa frame tuh..takpelaa, ni pun diorang kata dah cantik..Alhamdulillah..yang datang lambat ingat pihak hotel yang deco..hahaha..does this means i can start a deco business now? hehehe..

i ask the photog to take individual pic for each person..nak buat gambar before n after 20 years tak tergamak pulak..bertambah 20 kg adalaa..adoi

our form 5 class consists of 13 malays, 12 chinese and 11 indians..we called ourselves umno, mca and mic..hahaha..those days politics is not so hot like now..from 36 only 22 could make it that day..banyak jugak kan..syukurr..ok, jom layan photo2 from various source..

yb berucap..hahaha..they force me to make a speech padahal class monitor ada jer tuh..

this petite girl is our class monitor..kecik2 tapi garang dulu nih..we have a lucky draw session..sajer jer..i ask fajrul to help me with the prizes..ada 5 jer..our class monitor pick the 1st one..kebetulan dapat kat antara orang kuat project jugak..hahaha 

yang kedua dapat kat muhaini..the 3rd one fajrul pulak..OMG masa nih mmg gelak sangat sebab they said we berpakat so that AJK project jer dapat..hahaha..x baik tau..fajrul didnt take the prize though, instead she took 1 of the decorations candle :) yelaa, dahlaa dia yang beli..taulaa dia barang apa dalam tuh..

masa cabut yg ke4, dah berdebar dah..ajk lagi ker?skali yang dapat sapa tau?

cuba tgk tangan subhatra tuh tunjuk sapa..muhaini dah gelak macam hapa dah..

bantahan daripada yang lain..hahahhaa

tadaaa...adoi, memang rezekilaa kan..hehehe

ok, kita bg orang yg kuat membantah td draw pulak..

haa..mujur bukan AJK dah

after habis 5 lucky draw prize, i thought its better sambung jer lucky draw and for the prizes they get to choose which decoration item they want..takkan i nak bawak balik semua kan..dahlaa beli guna duit collection..it just didnt feel right..

sampai ke lantern habis licin..hahaha..only 3 person left without anything..then suddenly fei yee (the one yang membantah tadi) gave us 7 parkson voucher worth RM50 each!! waa..lagi best nih..so the last 3 dapatlaa voucher..then another 4 voucher dapat kat AJK including me :)

this classmate of mine was also my next door neighbor masa duduk bandar baru sentul dulu..her father would drove us to school everyday at 6am during Hari Kebangsaan performance training..our class took part in Hari Kebangsaan performance so we had training at SMK Cochrane for 2 weeks and Dataran Merdeka for a week..we wear white; one of the stripes in Jalur Gemilang..very proud and fun too..

for souvenirs, we book a large utility bag from @popstuff.my. they can customized the words on the box inside and outside, and on the item too..thanks alyn for suggesting and ordered them..

and as for the lucky draw, i got this!!! love it so much..immediately put my makeup and scarves accessories in it..

Alhamdulillah, majlis berjalan lancar walaupun ada kekurangan here and there but what's important is everybody happy and enjoyed themselves..semua adalah pemenang, tiada pengalah..hahahaha..they wanna repeat this before we turn 40 (like decades lagi kan? hehehe) and they want me to be the organiser again..adoi..ikutkan i, 5 tahun lagi baru nak buat..kalau kerap sangat takut bosan pulak..we'll see howlaa eh..dahlaa request nak buat overnight kat PD..lagi banyak benda nak kena fikir..hmm..hi-tea end at 4pm..some of us dah balik and some masih lepak2 borak2..the staffs baik hati let us lepak until almost 5pm..lepas tuh masing2 bawak haluan masing2..till we meet again Dahlian Angels..n i hope lagi ramai dapat participate in the next reunion..

me, maya, nonie and fajrul had the 2nd round of lepak2 at A&W while slurping at the rutbir floats afterwards..tak puas rasanya borak2..asek bergambar jer..

OSK Annual Grand Dinner

lama dalam draft..lupa plak..sajer nak update pasal Annual Dinner haritu..buat dekat Grand Nexus, Bangsar..makan so-so..tema Magical World of Fantasy..sepatutnya kena pakai costume in pair tapi malaslaa kan..we just wore our lace raya dress udah..mekap bila dah sampai sana..i won the lucky draw prize..dapat handblender which i haven't use yet..jomlah tengok gambar..biasa2 jer..sajer nak buat jugak post for my memories..

hah..leh sama pulak macam berjanji nak pakai purple..haippp..tapi tuh husband orang n wife orang tuh..

I have a post in my draft folder for my office's annual dinner with only 2 pictures..malangnya belum sempat transfer, my hp jatuh and the screen rosak..initially its just cracked and it didnt detected any touch..i have sent to fix it but coz i want it to be cheaper i opt for non original screen which went kaput after 3 days..totally black..i still can use it to hear the music i saved if i plugged in the earphone and it has azan maghrib on time..oh n also the alarm that i have set..other than that its just add another weight in my bag, thats all..since i just obliged to pay for a few things, i cant spent more money for new screen more over new hp..so im using my sister's 2nd phone now..so babailah cerita annual dinner..

cerita nih tahun 2014 but recently tayang kat 394 channel OhK 11pm isnin-jumaat..taklaa terseksa sangat menunggu tapi lps tgk episod 8 jumaat lepas terus cam xsabar2 nak tau apa kesudahan..malam tuh jugak marathon episod 10 sampai habis..well, taklaa habis 1 shot tapi bsoknya tuh habislaa..kat tv pun rekod jugak sebab nak ulang lagi..cerita tentang Na Ae Ra berjumpa semula dengan bekas suami Jung Woo setelah 3 tahun bercerai..punca bercerai sebab suami dia berhenti kerja tiba2 utk pursue dream bukak bisnes sendiri..lepas 4 tahun bisnes Jung Woo still xnampak bayang..Na Ae Ra support financially dengan buat bermacam2 kerja..akhirnya dia tak tahan dan diorang bercerai..

ok, nampak macam apalaa pompuan nih tak sanggup susah senang ngan husband kan..tapi lama2 bila faham kenapa dia buat macam tuh kita jadi susah nak benci watak dia..husband dia pulak kebetulan malam lepas bercerai tuh jumpa orang kaya yang sanggup melabur dalam bisnes dia..so perjumpaan semula setelah 3 tahun tuh Na Ae Ra terkejutlaa tgk ex husband dah jadi CEO sebuah syarikat..Na Ae Ra yang kebetulan diberhentikan kerja cuba internship kat syarikat Jung Woo..

cerita nih best sebab both tahu kelemahan dan kelebihan masing2 so macam2 diorang buat untuk jatuhkan/mengorat balik..dua2 masih ada cinta tapi ego..yang dah berkahwin akan rasa lebih best tengok citer nih sebab macam boleh relate perasaan tuh..yelaa, pasangan yang dah hisup bersama, bukan senang nak lupa..di samping flashback masa diorang bahagia rasa sebak plak..sekarang nih suka pulak tgk kdrama yang heronya dah ageing sket..cam macho gitew..yang muda2 tuh jambu naw2..orang2 single maybe tak bape faham sangatlaa citer nih..hahaha

sebenarnya tak minat sangat kdrama zaman2 joseon nih..mostly because rasa teruk sangat rakyat diorang kena tindas..beza2 kasta, tuan sesuka hati buat apa dia nak kat hamba..korupsi teruk, raja bodoh tak reti buat decision, semua kena ikut cakap menteri..walaupun dah tau menteri tuh jahattttt namatey..cerita nih macam tulaa jugak..adalaa part komedi tapi kurang..jangan risau, setakat episod 16 nih takde skinship lagi..zaman2 dulu kan sangat menjaga kehormatan..pegang tangan tu adalaa..the only reason aku tengok sebab penulis dia Kim Eun Sook the same writer for Goblin and Descendant of the Sun yang aku suka sangat tuh..so, we'll see nanti macamana ending dia..dahlaa ada 3 hero..benci tau nak kena pilih..hmmm..interesting fact; 1st hero tu adalah husband sebenar heroin cunnning single lady tadi..aku nih kalau suka, aku google semua nak tau pasal pelakon..huhuhu

setakat nih baru ep 9 kat astro. woo-jin (wife lama) kerja 1 ofis n bercinta pulak dengan kawan joo-hyuk..so, joo hyuk nih ada rasa jealous bila tengok diorang makin rapat..at the same time kehidupan baru dengan wife idaman (hye won) tidaklah seindah yang dia bayangkan..n dia ada rasa regret lari dari masalah instead of berdepan dan handle masalah dengan wife lama..aku tengok just because hero dia (ji sung) not so excited nak tunggu next episode tapi bolehlaa dari takde apa nak layan kan..plus nak jugak tau apa kesudahannya..

tajuk lain STILL 17..agak geram tengok cerita nih sebab semuanya jenis berahsia n taknak berterus terang..kalau dari awal heroin cerita what happen settle dah..hero pun tau yang sebenarnya heroin tulaa gadis pujaan masa sekolah..tapi kalau dia terus terang awal2, 2 episode pun boleh habis kot..hahaha..tengok jelaa..hero jenis jambu..heroin xminat sangat sebab dia cuba act cute (umur 17) tapi sebenarnya tak jadi..macam terencat adalaa..lg cool watak budak yang berlakon masa dia 17 tuh..however, aku suka watak2 sampingan macam dia si jennifer, the mysterious housekeeper..nak tau what happen to her yang dia robotic sangat tuh..huhuhu..all in all bolehlaa layan..x boring..

so itu dia, bekal kdrama untuk yang minat..mostly aku suka genre romantic comedy..xsuka investigation, thriller, serious, kekeluargaan kureng sikitlaa..walaupun ada jer kdrama macam tuh aku layan macam PARTNER IN JUSTICE (tajuk lain INVESTIGATION PARTNER); penyelesaian kes oleh pendakwa dan doktor bedah siasat and COME AND HUG ME; hubungan anak pembunuh bersiri dengan anak yang mangsa bunuh oleh pembunuh bersiri tuh..stress nak habiskan..xrepeat lagi kot..kalau korang suka, bolehlaa layan..till next k drama :) annyeong!!

Open Office Raya 2018

so, i have organize makan2 at our office before syawal ends. actually dari awal tahun my boss dah bagitau i to take charge of makan2 at office every few months. bajet tak lebih 300 katanya for 20 heads.. hahaha.. pepandailaa ko arrange kan.. so i ordered most of the food from my friend yang memang buat catering.. plastic cutleries and utensils semua i pegi beli sendiri.. mintak sponsor dari boss lain pulaklaa yang tuh.. lemang i beli buat tambah2 and another colleague buat tiramisu..Alhamdulillah, semua enjoy the food.. we teach our chinese friends macamana nak makan raya dish..ni match ngan apa..

our accounts department. adik2 yang sangat rajin. tau jelaa keje account nih x pernah habis..selalu stay back.
